Greetings
I'm really enjoying my SG200-08P, but I'm unable to update FW from version 1.0.0.12 to 1.0.8.3. I use .stk file, I select Administration > File Managment > via HTTP / Upgrade / File Type - Firmware IUmage, in source file, I select the file and...
- in Chrome, it does nothing
- in Opera, it does nothing
- in MSiE, it starts to upload the file, and uploads it to oblivion
- in FX, it starts to upload the file, and uploads it to oblivion
- in Maxthon it does nothing
- in Edge it does nothing
- in Safari it does nothing
- in Vivaldi, it does nothing
Any clue where I might be doing a mistake? My computer is directly connected to PoE Eth0/1 [not sure whether it's 0, 1, 2 - 7, or 1 - 8].
Please advise
Kind regards
Bryan

Hello Bryan,
Please call us at:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tsd-cisco-small-business-support-center-contacts.html
so we can open up a ticket and see exactly why you are receiving this error.
From what I see it might be either a firewall/antivirus or something else that is interfering with the upgrade process.
Kind regards,

Hello Bryan,
It seems that you are doing everything OK.
Please check if your firewall and antivirus are disabled on the PC from which you are uploading the .stk file.
Also, please check if, after the upload (you can just wait for a few minutes so the file can be surely uploaded and then refresh the page) you can select ver. 1.0.8.3 in the File Management-> Active Image section. If you can - please select it and reboot the switch.
If you are still experiencing issues, please give us a call at:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tsd-cisco-small-business-support-center-contacts.html
so we can open up a ticket, make a WebEx session and try to upgrade the firmware together.
Kind regards,
Milan Milanov

Hello uplink@uplink.sk, my name is Jonathan and i am one of the engineers here at the Cisco SBSC team.
As suggested before you can call us to open a ticket, so we can help you with the upgrade, however i checked on the website and the current version that you have 1.0.0.12 is not listed for the SG200-08P so what i would like you to try is to check if instead of jumping to the latest version 1.0.8.3 you can try first with this version 1.0.3.3 and if that works please continue with the upgrades little by little until you reach the latest. please let us know how it goes.
Regards.

Hi Bryan,
Thank you for contacting Cisco online support community.
Are you getting any error while upgrading image file from the PC to switch? If so, Please specify.
Please try after disabling firewall in the PC and any other third party antivirus software on the PC.
