Need help setting up Cisco 220 switch static ip

I am in IT, but been out of networking for awhile. Our business got a new fiber connection from Comcast. They said all I need to do is assign a static ip to my Cisco 220 switch. I have tried setting the vlan ip to either the ip or gateway address that Comcast provided, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.252. I set the prefix to 30. I change the network adapter to DHCP, but no internet. I have a network cable plugged from the Comcast fiber box port 1/link to a port on switch. I have the computer plugged into the switch. Not sure why it’s not working.

    - You probably need to involve comcast to debug the connection further,
