Network access stops working for SRW20xx

We have recently switched to Linksys (now Cisco) managed switches.  The problem is this: I can only seem to get to the switches (via Webview) if I am on a pc that is on the same switch or hub that the managed switch is on!  So, I have gone into the webview when I'm on the same hub as say my SRW2008 switch and everything works, but if I put this switch in its location (a couple hops away), I can't even ping it.

I know it's probably something simple, but I'm a little lost with it and was hoping someone could be kind to me :)

I've read about VLANs and the like, but I'm just lost!

Yes, this sounds like a VLAN issue to me. If you are using multiple VLAN's you need to make sure that the Native VLAN is on your trunks untagged for the switches to pass your traffic on down the line. If you want to manage your switches from a VLAN other than the native VLAN then you must also ensure that the switches have a default gateway setup, and that routing works properly, of course.
