Hi
I'm new here, so forgive me if I am misreading something. I'm looking at upgrading firmware on SG200-50 device and it currently has firmware 1.1.2
I've been going through the release notes for several of the upgrades and noticed the notes for 1.4.8.06 have reworded the section on "Upgrading from Versions Earlier than 1.3.5". It says:

Hi Marty,
If upgrading from 1.1.2 you will need to first upgrade the boot code via TFTP to 1.3.5.06 (sx200_boot-13506.rfb), followed by upgrading firmware to 1.3.7.18 (sx200_fw_1.3.7.18.ros). (You can find both here: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/283771828/type/282463182/release/1.3.7.18 )
Restart, then proceed to upgrade to latest firmware 1.4.8.06 (sx200_fw-1486.ros).
I'd also advise to factory reset after upgrading to 1.4.8.06 and reconfiguring the switch from scratch to prevent any possibly issues.
Thanks,
Kris

Hey Kris thanks for your reply
My posting wasn't really about how to firmware upgrade for my device, it was to point out what I think is an error in the readme based on the availability of downloadable updates.
You said I need to update to 1.3.7, and I would agree, but the readme doesn't agree. It says for the Sx200/Sx300 to update to 1.3.5, and the Sx500 to update to 1.3.7
Previous readme guides do not distinguish between devices and just says to update to 1.3.5 or 1.3.7. Since 1.3.5 is not available for download for the Sx200, there's little choice, but the versions are actually the same underlying code from what I understand.
Maybe I am being overly thorough, but I feel the new wording causes some confusion.
