We recently purchased a Cisco SF100D-16P for the PoE functionality to power 6 SPA504G phones.
Previously the office had only 3 phones and they were using wall wart supplies but when the new phones did not come with supplies we decided to go PoE instead of buying more power bricks.
After 2 weeks of operation we have noticed that the switch itself (not the power brick for the switch) is constantly 'whistling'. For a 'desktop' switch (i.e. one to go in an area where people are working) this seems like a fault, please confirm?
