I have a situation where we put in a new Fortigate FW that has a DMZ interface connected to an SG100-16. Connected to the SG100 are two windows network load balanced web servers. We were experience intermittent drops in connectivity from these two servers that would last about 5 min where nothing from them would pass through the switch to the FW. Other machines on the dmz had no problem passing through the switch. The web servers could connect to anything on their side of of the switch. We worked with Fortinet and could not find an issue with the FW and we could not find an issue with the servers. We swapped out the SG100-16 for an SG200-18. We have been running tests for 3 days and have not experienced connectivity issues of any kind. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why the change would have solved the problem?
