Hello,

yesterday I bought used Cisco SG300-10 for home using.
I found some problems.

1. console cable doesn't work, don't understand why so I enabled SSH via webui, connecting to ssh now

2. I can't upgrade firmware.

The very first of all I downloaded

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/283019615/type/282463181/release/1.4.1.03

Used copy tftp://10.31.0.12/sx300_boot-13506.rfb

rebooted switch

But if I want to upgrade ros, tfp can't download it. Tried 2 versions - 1.4.1.03 and 1.4.11.04.

Any help please?
Thank you

 1) Check the logs of your tftp server, watch for errors - if any. 2) What kind of tftp server/platform are you using ?

 M,

When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

1. why do I need to check tftp server logs? It's serial cable which doesn't work. I connect cable, but still see switch "down"

Upgrade already fixed. I musted to upgrade older firmwares before newest.

Just can't find newer bootloader. Don't know if there is some newer version.
and in cisco website I see *.ros 1.4.11.4 which was released on 29th Jan 2020 but in ssh I see 1.4.11.4 02-Dec-2019. Don't know if it's ok :)
