Good day,
I have a problem with SmartPort settings and how macros applys to the port.
I have a working Auto Voice VLAN configuration. Is a phone attached to a port the macro (ip_phone)changed the settings and phone is in the correct VLAN. But when there is a phone connected and also a PC on the same port the switch detect only the phone and bring up the ip_phone macro. But I'm expecting the ip_phone_desktop macro. Is there any way to check whats going on or how I can see how the detection works.
Thanks for you help and feedback.
Update:
When I use CDP instead of LLDP on the phone settings the switch use the correct macro (ip_phone_desktop). So what is the difference?
Here my LLDP and CDP output:

Hi,
My name is Iliya Gatsev from Cisco Technical Support Team.
I think it would be best if you could call our support line and open a support ticket, so we can do a WebEx remote session and check the configuration.

Hi,
this is because of LLDP capabilities of the device which are advertised.
Please rate this post or marked as answered to help other Cisco customers.
