Hi,

My question to the product warranty period: Cisco warranty finder says: 90 day or 1 year.

Info page says: "limited warranty" what is correct one?

Product: SG 300 - 10 port and SG 300 - 28 port Switch.

I did use: https://cway.cisco.com/sncheck/

Warranty Status: Unavailable

Warranty question:

* Let's say switch Breaks down after 1½ year can i RMA?

Warranty Finder search find switch says warranty 1 year??.

Can someone little bit open this to me

sorry for bad english :)

Cisco Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty: Cisco 300 Series Switches offer a limited lifetime hardware warranty with next business day advance replacement (where available, otherwise same day ship) and a limited lifetime warranty for fans and power supplies. In addition, Cisco offers software application updates for bug fixes for the warranty term, and telephone technical support at no charge for the first 12 months following the date of purchase. To download software updates, go to: www.cisco.com/cisco/web/download/index.html.

Product warranty terms and other information applicable to Cisco products are available at www.cisco.com/go/warranty.

So after a year and a half no , you wont get a replacement

Hello,

@Mark Malone is your statement still valid?

We have a customer who wants to order a CBS350 and he thinks he has a 5 year RMA without ordering a CON-Service.

i actually find this: Cisco Small Business Product Enhanced Limited Hardware Warranty Terms (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/warranties/warranty-doc-c99-740617.html)

thank you in advance for your answer

Dear all,

1. Regarding SG300 series switches. Those switches come with Cisco Limited Lifetime warranty with next business day advance replacement (where available) https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/warranties/warranty-doc-c99-740617.html . Basically, you can RMA the switch (if hardware problem) until October 31, 2023. The 300 series switches have been announced EoS/EoL since October 4, 2018. Please refer to End-of-Life Milestones and see all types of support that are available: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/small-business-300-series-managed-switches/eos-eol-notice-c51-740542.html

2. Regarding the new CBS350 series switches, they come again with Cisco Limited Lifetime warranty with next business day advance replacement (where available). https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/business-350-series-managed-switches/datasheet-c78-744156.html and https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/warranties/warranty-doc-c99-740617.html   You will basically have RMA option available for the CBS350 switches 5 years after announcing the EoS date for the product. This is not in any way bound or related to a service contract but only to the product warranty. The service contract (Cisco SNTC) adds NBD advanced replacement and access to STAC remote technical support for the duration of the service contract.

Thanks,

Martin
