SG300 Vlan routing

We have recently purchased a SG300 to break up our network which most consists of virtual machines via Bridged networking on network machines. I have created successfully Vlans and the physical machines are capable of communicating across the different subnets that I have created via the SG300 however the Virtual machines can no longer be reached.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong ?

Many Thanks

Hi Mohammed,

It is really a switch issue or a virtual machine issue.

The following knowledge base article might still be most relevant to you;

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&docTypeID=DT_KB_1_1&externalId=1004109

It asks you to check a few items on your NIC card and virtual machine. You may not be using vmware, but it's also worthwhile checking the manufacturer knowledgebase of your VM software.

regards Dave

I have resolved this now,turns out the I could not get to the Firewall from two of the subnets. I have resolved this by adding Static routes on the Astaro firewall for the subnets in question.
