Hello. So in my small business we have an sg350-28. It has been great.
The problem is, currently it is on a UPS that has a 8ms time between ac loss to switching over to battery.
So we have a new UPS that has a 16.6ms switch over time. All the other devices we have are fine with this. However I cannot find the specs on the sg350-28 power supply.
Dose anyone know what the hold up time is?

as i remember 10 years or more testing with APC UPS , Online UPS vs Line Interactive UPS. it was 10ms hold time device can able to co-up, before the power not served the device reboots.
this may be changed, never got any chance to test, since most new world has dual feeds online UPS.

10 is pretty low. ATX standard is 17. Industrial equipment is 50.
I really hope its not 10. It would be the only thing in the rack that is that short.
I just tested a 15 year old SMC 24 port 10/100 switch and it did the 16.6 fine 3 times back to back.
I will keep you updated on the situation. Worst case scenario the switch will have to have its own UPS.

The Hold-up time of the SG350 series PSUs is greater than 10ms. Hold-up time is measured when the AC line is shut off to the drop of the 12V DC output goes below 10.8V with a full load and no external output capacitor.
Thanks,
Martin
