SG350-52P inter VLAN configuration issue

Hello,

I'm trying to configure a SG350-52P (my first time...), running with the latest frimware.

I've configured 2 VLAN. I want to use VLAN1 for all the PC of the office and the other for the router.

Only one interface uses VLAN2 (GE24)

I've also configured a DHCP server for the VLAN1:

These are other IPv4 configuration screenshot:

If I try to test the interVLAN routing it seems to not completely work.

I can ping the interfaces of the two VLAN

Ping4.PNG

and from VLAN2 I can ping the router:

Ping3.PNG

But I can't ping the router (and aslo reach internet) from VLAN1 and also from my pc with add 10.0.0.50 in VLAN1

I've read other discussion here and I've tried to solve it but unsuccesfully.

I attach also my configuration

Do you have any idea to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Federico

Hi Seb,

thank you for your help.

Unfortunately I cannot configure my ISP router (as you said) so at the moment I will use another switch that works as a nat.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi there,

the router probably doesn't know how to reach VLAN2. It will need a route like:

10.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.11

ie, VLAN2 is reachable via the SG350 VLAN1 SVI.

Regarding reaching the internet, the router will need to be configured to NAT the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet. On cheap ISP routers it is highly likely that you will not be able to configure this.

cheers,

Seb.

Keep in mind that no Cisco switch will support NAT, you will have to opt for either a router or a firewall.

Please can you mark this post as answered ;)
