SG350X STP new root bridge Question

When a new unconfigured SG350X switch is add to a infrastructure, i know that its possible the stp / rstp may choose a new root bridge. but is it really correct that then some LAGs blocking between the other switches for a short time? Especially when there are no loops or alternative routes between the switches. and only one cable is plugged into the new switch.

To avoide this sitaution rather leaving default priority for STP - change to higher level so this will not become root bridge. (if this meet the STP requirement to be root).
