Hi Luciano
Obviously not a normal operation that you are experiencing.
Just looking at the output, it seems like a Flash memory error issue with loading of the Operating system file .bix extension.
Dare i suggest that either you can be sure that your console setting are correct according to the Administrators guide.
If you can't download via X-modem the .bix firmware file that will overwrite the old file, I would suggest you contact the SBSC and avail yourself of the 5 year Warranty on those switches.
I can only apologise that you are in this situation, I'm sure SBSC will either help you fix the situation or replace the product.
Contact the Small Business Support center via the following URL to get warranty support within your country.

Thank you for the reply.
The COM1 has been set right and the downloading via x-modem seems not work... therefore I followed you suggestion: RMA has been open. Next Monday I'll send back the switch to CISCO for replacement.
Thanks a lot for your interesting.
Regards, Luciano
