Hi everyone.
I want to stack 2 SG500X-24 on SG1 port, with one cable SFP-H10GB. Can I then use port XG2, XG3, XG4 for switch to conect GSG300-52P?
I read datasheet, but i cant find information that I can set only one port for stack.

Hi,
I hope you are doing good and sorry for the delay in response, kindly check with the details below.
>>So thats mean that i cant use 1 port (sfp port) to stack and 3 port to connect o another swith, becouse stack
Ans: Sure you can use any 1 combo port for stacking, as you mentioned as per stack mode configuration you need to choose at least 2 ports for stacking but once can be used.
Note: Though only one port is used for stacking as per your setup, you can’t use other three ports as uplink to connect with other switch at the same time; you can use the other 3 ports only for stacking when the switch is in stack mode.
But as mentioned earlier if you no need of any stack you can change the switch to stand alone mode and can use the XG3/S1, XG4/S2 as uplink port to connect with other switch along with permanent uplink port XG1, XG2.
>>When i implement the LAG between 2 distributed switches, the STP will block me half conection from SG300 switch.
Ans: I hope if you implement the LAG the STP won’t block the connection from SG300.
>>Whether there is a way to use two connection from SG300 as LAG conect to two physical SG500X switch ?
Sure, we can connect any two ports from SG300 and can connect to two physical Sg500X switches other than the stack port of the SG500X.
