Hi

Can you advise if the SG550XG-8F8T-K9-NA can be stacked with theSG500X-48-k9-NA?

The documentation available speaks to stacking of the SG500XG-8F8T-NA stacking with SG500X-48-K9, however since SG500XG-8F8T-NA  is now end of sale and has been replaced by the SG550XG-8F8T-K9-NA is this supported?

Answer for this question is: NO

Yes ,SG550XG-8F8T-K9-NA  is supported for stacking with same family switch models with any SG550XG.

regards

According to the data sheet this series supports lag ports as stacking ports.

I am missing the right way how to set this up and could not find any document where it's described.

Maybe you are familiar with this and could give me a short advice:

Thanks a lot!

Thanks to chat support: the answer is too easy:

when you create a stack and add multiple connections / links / cables, the stack will automatically use them in parallel (if they are active).

You can check the link status via cli:

regarding to https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbms/350xg/admin_guide/AG_Tesla_350_550.pdf:

Hybrid Stack
In Hybrid Stack mode, an SG350X device can be stacked together with an SG350XG device,
and an Sx550X device can be stacked with an SG550XG device.
To join a unit to a hybrid stack it must be first configured in Hybrid mode. This is done by
setting the Stack Mode to Hybrid Stacking in the Stack Management
page, as described
below.
