Solved: You can stack 3750G and 3750X

Hi,

I want to know if its possible to stack my old switch WS-C3750G-12S-S with WS-C3750X-12S-S ?

Also can some one tell me WS-C3750G-12S-S can be stacked with which other switches ?

Any help will be appreciated.

You can stack 3750G and 3750X switches but you will lose the Stackwise+ ability so your stack ring will run at the lower stackwise speed.

I believe the IOS' need to be the same, I have read the 3750G will need to be at least 12.2(53) in order to support the 3750x series switches.

You will also need to double check the licences.

Yes thats true, can you suggest me what is the best thing i can do.. coz WS-C3750G-12S-S is EOL and we need to stack. Also 3750X is expensive.
