Hi

I am a newbie in cisco management.

I just bought 2 cisco CBS350-24T-4X switches and I left the default configurations untouched. For now I just want them to work as a a unmanaged switch, just to to connect my devices to each other , a bridge network. My network config is like below. I am noticing in one of the switches below log and internet in some devices comes and goes for few seconds : I would highly appreciate any help. Thanks!

%STP-W-PORTSTATUS: gi1/0/4: STP status Forwarding

%LINK-W-Down: gi1/0/4

%LINK-I-Up: gi1/0/4

 - The devices are not intended for unmanaged use (stay untouched) and must be configured with vlans and ports allocated to vlans for use (for instance.) ; what you are seeing is that if the device are untouched you get spurious spanning tree negotiating (attempts) , hence the link flapping.
Configure and setup the devices for proper networking ASAP !

Actually they have the default configuration, there is vlan1 in each one of them and all ports are allocated to vlan1 as access ports.

As stated earlier, that is a no go , create another vlan , put the
needed connections in that vlan ,in host mode ( switchport mode access).
