switch neighbour is showing it's own name

there's a switch name  "CKROOM"   in client company I once do "show CDP neighbour" in that "CKROOM" also were showing i don't know how that's possible switch could connect with own self? kindly help

if you loop the switch the port should go spanning tree error disabled.

 

other reason may be same switch name configured other side.

 

can you show us show cdp nei output to understand better, rather assumption.

Hi,

 

yes there is possibility if you have any looped cable connections for same switch

It's mean there's some physical cable and also tell it's ok in this
condition should i eliminate this loopback condition kindly tell it's
solution

Yeah I checked it it was another switch but same name , actually i was worried that what happened now it's ok
