Hi all,
we are configuring our first SX350 Cluster and then we are testing some simple things.
First of all here is our setup :
- 4 SX350X 52
- Unit 1 is linked to unit 2 using 2 copper cables
- Unit 2 is linked to unit 3 using 2 fibbers
- Unit 3 is linked to unit 4 using 2 copper cables
- Unit 4 to unit 1 with fibbers
Unit 1 is master
Unit 2 is standby
Unit 3 & 4 are member
Nothing else than cluster is configured, really simple setup
We plugged one computer on each switch and then pinged from every computer to other one
We also pinged the management IP from another machine
If we remove power from unit 1 the we loose all ping (even ping from computer 3 to computer 4 for example), this is quite crazy. Port seems to be down.
It lasts about 1.5 minutes.
Did we misundertood something about cluster ?
