Tag and untag VLANs communication

I'm trying to connect a server who do not accept VLAN tags to a switch. This switch has a VLAN tag that is coming from a transmitter. There are also other computers connected to this switch, and since they are configured let say to VLAN2 which is what is being transmitted from the Transmitter(Modem), they all can talk to each other. I had tried the Cisco SG200-08, and for some odd reason, I can't get the right VLAN configuration that allows Tag and Untag ports to coexist. My question to you is how can I configure one of the eight-port to be untagged and the others seven tags and still have communication between all my configured ports( untag and tag port), or what kind of technology I need to accomplish these settings.

For different networks your need a L3 device to establish connetion between these networks.

Hi @Gameover6005 ,

As mentioned @Jaderson Pessoa , to be able to address different networks, you must have an L3 device, either a router or a multilayer switch.
Now, you can try to leave the administration/native vlan as the same one that comes from the transmitter.
This is to see if the packets without vlan number manage to remain in the same vlan as the packets that are with a tag.

I hope this can help you.

Gameover6005,

SG switches do support VLANs and should be able to accomodate both tagged and untagged ports. Can you please specify which ports you have and what configuration you tried. If you want all the hosts to end up in the same VLAN, then you should be able to do that.

you can set the PVID on the switch port connected to server to "2".

so this port is part of VLAN2 without using tags
