I'm using switch at our IP camera security systems in below.
SRW208MP-K9-EU(2 pieces)
SRW224G4P-K9-EU(4 pieces)
SLM2024PT-EU(1 piece)
with Supermicro Server System and Cat6 cabling.
All of them is poe switch.(I think, you know)
I feed 36 IP cameras at the System.
Some switches are sometimes crashes. Then, i will reset them but it is very difficult.
Because the switches are 10 meters above the ground, standing inside the cabinets.Each time, lift out one by one by one takes time to reset.
The first question is why the switch can be locked?
And..
How can I reset the more practical?
Note: Switches is locked can not reach the server, such as cameras, even cameras and sometimes unavailable.
I've Been working on this problem in a period of 6 months. I changed the server. I changed the cables. The problem continues. Before making a bigger move, I wanted to get support here. By the way, I use nexenta OS at Supermicro Server. The maximum cable length is 90 meters used in the System.(Cat6)
