Vlan0 Priority Tag stripped by SG200-08

Hello All,

My company is currently having issues with the SG 200-08, in that when

we're sending an Ethernet Frame through the switch consisting of an

802.1Q VLAN 0 priority tag and custom payload, the smart switch is

stripping the 802.1Q tag from the frame.

Another Cisco Product, the SG100D-08 Unmanaged Switch will properly

forward the Ethernet frame in its entirety, and exhibits the behavior that we

wish to achieve out of the SG 200-08

Is there any way to configure the SG 200-08 so that it does not strip the

VLAN 0 Priority tag?

Supplemental Info:

  • Switch FW Version: 1.0.1.0
  • Wireshark & port mirroring have been used to verify that the VLAN tag is properly being transmitted to the switch, but removed when going to the targetdevice.

Thanks!

Hi Chad, 'VLAN tag stripping" is not a configurable feature.
