I need a switch with at least 8x 10Gb access ports, but I am having issues finding a model that will do this.. the 3560-D seems to be uplink ports only is this correct?

If you need 8 10 Gig ports, you can use 4900M with an 8 port 10 Gig  module.  It is 2RU device

3560E-12D can do 10Gb.  This model can do Layer 2/Layer 3 per interface.

Good info Leo

I did not know there is 3560 with 12 10Gig ports.

Thanks +5

• 12 X2-based 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports
• 60 Gbps, backplane utilization 2:1 oversubscribed
• Dual hot-swappable 300WAC or DC power supplies and redundant fans
• 1-RU fixed configuration multilayer switch
• IPv6

• Provides full IPv6 dynamic routing

Thanks for the ratings, Reza.

Please don't be confused with the 3560E-12SD.
