12.2.53-SG4 is GD? General Deployment?

According to the Cisco Download Software selector for the 4500 SupIV and 4948s, 12.2.53-SG4 is identified as GD code, "12.2.53-SG4(GD)".

I've never seen GD code released for a Cat4500Sup4.  I do not find GD or General Deployment mentioned in the release notes. 

Can someone from Cisco confirm this code is genuinely designated (outside of just a software selector) as GD code?

  As far as I know Cisco has dropped any GD designation for newer codes on any products. .  I would say thats a documentation error.
