  - Overall power consumption will depend on what modules are being used on the devices too ;

Thank you for your reply , I have not seen the build spec yet . I have a project soon to rack these devices and survey power availability but that’s hard to do when I have not been given the info on power modules that have been installed so unsure if I should be looking for 16 Or 32a outlets , . Don’t even know what power cables are required , if they are c15,c19,c21 ends that connect into the modules . Thanks for the power table link I’m sure it will help .

Hi,

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/iosxr/asr9000/hardware-install/overview-reference/b-asr9k-overview-reference-guide/b-asr9k-hardware-installation-guide_chapter_011.html

Have a look at Table 3.

Source AC service requirement

20 A North America;

16 A international;

13 A United Kingdom

Thank you for that. Was thinking it would possibly creep up to needing a 32a socket depending on the cards the device was specked with.

You should not need 32a. According to the document, for the UK, 13 a.m. per circuit should do it.

HTH

Thank you
