1921 router doesn't ship with rack mount kit.

Hello, I cannot find it on this table.

Not sure why it is not on that table, but the part number is "ACS-1900-RM-19".

Hmmm ... Someone's taken the SKU out. Don't know why.
Try Amazon.

Why would Cisco not include the rack mount kit? I find it insulting that I bought an expensive product and now I need to scramble to find a part that should be there.
Cisco don't treat your customers this way!

Because the 1921 is intended for very small SOHO deployments. It only has a sustained throughput rating of 15 Mbps. You typically would not be using a rack in a deployment that small, you would just stick it on a desk or a shelf.
Some folks do use it for other things though, which is why they made the rack mount kit. It's a separate item because it is not typical to need it.

I was told the 1921 is a replacement of the 1841 line and those used to come with the rack mount kit. Are you saying the 1921 is a lower line than the 1841?
Thank you for the reply

The 1921 is a lower end model then the 1841. It has less sustained throughput then the 1841's 38 Mbps.
A proper replacement for the 1841 would be a 1941, though at this point you may want to consider going straight to a 4321, or a 4331.
