What's the SEC license function on a 1921 router vs. not getting it with the SEC license. That is Cisco1921/K9 vs. Cisco1921-SEC/K9. Why would I choose one over the other?

1 This depends on what features your using, ipbase will have less security features and is a more stripped down version of ios , that comes free with the router
2 you still need a license for IPsec/vpn even on the seck9 ios if your planning on doing IPsec-IPsec vpns
3 not sure about a chart
4 yes it can but gns3 is free and covers all aspects of routing for the ccna including serial interfaces which are becoming legacy, it also covers full crypto vpns , im not sure if serial interfaces even still in the ccna, I wouldn't go out and buy 1 anyway, just load up a 7200 in gns3 with advanced image and you will have everything you need to study

The first one runs standard ip base license the 2nd is a security license which would be more advanced for your router and have more available security features
