2 versus 4 uplinks from Dist-Core

What are the benefits? One uplink is still blocked all the time and extra SFP / fiber cost?

Will this only works optimally with a STP version higher than CSTP? Say MSTP.

What does an optimal design look like with a dist switch having an uplink to each Core and MSTP?

O yeah and if you are running CSTP (i know), with a L2 Dist switch with 2 uplinks to Cores (where SVIs are terminated).

Aren't you effectively sending all VLAN traffic through Dist1 switch, and Dist2 sitting there doing nothing?
