I have a 2921 router which has three gigabit ethermet ports. I would like to have a redundant IP connection for this router to two different 3750-X switches (These switches are NOT in a stack) The switches are connected via a dot1Q trunk link and run routing protocols.
Is this possible ? The 2921 supports etherchannel, but I believe all links in an etherchannel must terminate on the same device.
Thanks,

Gordon,
The concept which i believe you are looking for is known as VPC and this is only supported on Nexus or you can use MEC on 6500 VSS. Unfortunately you cannot use this with your router.

One hair-brained idea I had, was to bind everything to the Loopback interface, use a pair of /30s for the two ethernet ports, and let OSPF/whatever work out how to route between the two links.
