2950 and CEF

I'm studying for the BCMSN and read this line in the Cert Guide "The following platforms all perform CEF in hardware ... fixed-configuration switches, such as the Catalyst 3750, 3560, 3550, and 2950"

How does a 2950 perform CEF. CEF is a MLS feature and the 2950 only switches at layer 2.

Any clarification would be appreciated!

I think 2950 is a misprint as you said it is a layer 2 switch and does not contain a FIB table , the rest yes cef is used .

I do agree with glen 2950 does not support MLS feature.
