2951 with SM-D-ES3G-48-P - Not able to access SM

I will preface this with this is really my first venture in to the ISR space, and this is a lab machine I am working to learn on.  The 2951 was originally a stand along machine, and I just received a refurb SM-D-ES3G-48-P that I installed.

The problem I am running in to is trying to configure the SM.  It is installed, I have assigned an IP address, and I can get to the switch interface on GigabitEthernet2/0, however whenever I try to go in to privileged EXEC mode with enable, I just get Unknown cmd.

I have tried searching and following the step by step guide to setup the SM, but without being to get in to Privileged mode on the SM, there is not much I can do.

Have you loaded the image for the SM itself? How does your SM prompt look like?

Thanks for the reply.  That was it, as it looks like the SM was not set to auto boot.  Rookie move totally, but first time ever dealing with SMs.
