Will the C2960-C support static routes? I have enabled sdm prefer lanbase-routing and reloaded. The switch will not accept the command "ip routing" after a reload. I did a show sdm prefer and the lanbase template is shown.
License Level: lanbase
License Type: Permanent
Switch Ports Model SW Version SW Image
------ ----- ----- ---------- ----------
* 1 10 WS-C2960C-8PC-L 12.2(55)EX3 C2960c405-UNIVERSALK9-M
Thanks...

Do you mean it returns with some error, or do you mean that it is not shown in the sh run?

You have to set "sdm prefer lanbase-routing" first.
After submitting this command the switch needs to reload abd then it will be able to create up to 8 vlan interfaces i think.
Now thr ip routing command should work too.
