Hi

Tried googling, and searching the forums on this but with no luck.

Can anybody tell me why our 2960 shows the following DRAM - 0K/4088K

cisco WS-C2960G-48TC-L (PowerPC405) processor (revision E0) with 0K/4088K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID FOC1248Z62X

Last reset from power-on

2 Virtual Ethernet interfaces

48 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces

The password-recovery mechanism is enabled.

Thanks

Hi,

Depending on the platform and revisions, some equipment divide the memory in 2 sections

example

revision A) with 245760K/16384K bytes of memory

You add up the 2 numbers together to get the amount of memory you have.  In your case the first part is 0 and the second part is 4088K which is 4Mb.

HTH

Thanks for the reply.  I usually work it out from adding the 2 numbers together I just thought there must be an issue with with it showing 0, as I have not seen that before and all the other 2960s on our network have either 64MB or 128MB of DRAM and displays the DRAM value in the sh ver as normal so I was kind of shocked at just 4MB.
