Good morning Community,

Nov 2 08:42:13: %ILPOWER-3-CONTROLLER_PORT_ERR: Controller port error, Interfac e Gi2/0/48: Power given, but Power Controller does not report Power Good

Nov 2 08:42:22: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Vlan1, changed state to down
Nov 2 08:42:22: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Vlan99, changed state to down
Nov 2 08:42:23: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet 2/0/48, changed state to down
Nov 2 08:42:24: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface GigabitEthernet2/0/48, changed state to down
Nov 2 08:42:27: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface GigabitEthernet2/0/48, changed state to up
Nov 2 08:42:28: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet 2/0/48, changed state to up
Nov 2 08:42:55: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Vlan1, changed state to up
Nov 2 08:42:55: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Vlan99, changed state to up

then, my ports had intermittency

I cheked the power inline

sh power inline Gi2/0/48
Interface Admin Oper Power Device Class Max
(Watts)
--------- ------ ---------- ------- ------------------- ----- ----
Gi2/0/48 auto off 0.0 n/a n/a 30.0

Interface AdminPowerMax AdminConsumption
(Watts) (Watts)
---------- --------------- --------------------

Gi2/0/48 30.0 15.4

It's just a specific port thing or what else could it be?

Thanks in advanced for your advices

Hi,

Have you checked the cable or replace it?  Also, is CDP enabled on this port?
