2960 Switch Stacking

I want to know whether the cisco 2960 switches can be stacked with the stack cable.

Hi Prasant,

No, the 2960 is not stackable. StackWise is only available on the 3750, and GigaStack requires wide form factor GBIC slots, which the 2960 series does not have.

If I'm mistaken, someone please correct me as I like to learn new things too :)

Stackwise is for Catalyst 3750 Switch

GigaStack is for Catalyst 3550, 2950G, 3500 XL and modular Catalyst 2900 XL Switches
