Hoping someone might be able to assist with Autosmart Ports on the 2960x switch. I have a need to switch vlan based on MAC address for a few of our windows PC's that have dual boot (Standard Work build PC, and then Internet Cafe Build). Majority of the time they will be on our standard data vlan (Configured as standard2960,Smart Ports access ports), then when needed as Internet Cafe would boot up with a different MAC and go into a Private Vlan for internet access.2960,Smart Ports
I think Smart ports would cater for this, and when the MAC of the Internet Cafe machine is detected, would then strip the standard access port config off, and replace with the Private vlan config. My query is how I actually do it, so far I've got as far as creating the MAC address list, and I've found a way of creating an execute macro for the config change over, but struggling to bind the two together.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
