2x6500 VSS iOS version 12.2(33)SXH perform a FSU upgrade

can i upgrade two 6500 whit just one SUP each one using FSU(fast software upgrade) ?

I don't you'll see any benefits with FSU and a single supervisor card.  I also don't think FSU is supported at the SXH-level IOS.

1.  Copy the IOS from the Cisco website; 

2.  Read the Release Notes carefully; 

3.  Verify the MD5 hash value of the file copied and compare against the MD5 hash value found in the Cisco website; 

3.  Copy the IOS from the TFTP server to the chassis:  copy tftp://<TFTP IP Address>/filename.bin sup-bootflash:

4.  Change the boot variable string so the new IOS gets booted first and the old IOS as a backup:  

config t

no boot system flash

boot system flash sup-bootflash:NEW_IOS.bin

boot system flash sup-bootflash:OLD_IOS.bin
