3560 switches randomly rebooting

Hi All,

Our access layer consist mostly of Cisco 3560-48PS switches. Since a couple of week switches randomly start rebooting. When i look in de logging of these switches i see this output:000273: Dec 3 08:29:39: %PLATFORM-1-CRASHED: System previously crashed with the following message:

I have no clue what this means and why it happens. Is this a hardware failure, software bug or config failure?? I can't open a TAC case because these switches are EOS, but we still have to use these switches. Why causes this and is there a way to solve this issue?

Hey

looks like software crash upgrade to new ios would be the first thing i would do , why i say that if you look at the sh ver you will see

System returned to ROM by address error at PC 0x11C0628, address 0x0

Less Common Types of System Crashes

Address Error

Address errors occur when the software tries to access data on incorrectly-aligned boundaries; two-byte and four-byte accesses are allowed only on even addresses. An address error usually indicates a software bug, but faulty hardware can also be a cause
