Hi,
Should be an easy one. Concerned about causing issues to interface settings. Came across an incorrect switch setup and want to fix causing minimum disruption.
2x Stack 3750
Switch 1 = Member
Switch 2 = Master
So Fa1/X/X is member Switch and Fa2/X/X is master.
I want to make Switch 2 the physical top switch in the rack.
I have corrected the priorities. My thinking is just renumber the switch, reload stack.
Will this correct the stack? Will this sort the interface settings automatically e.g. Vlan numbers, descriptions?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
Will this mess up interface settings?

The interface settings or configuration under the interface will be kept, just the interface ID will change. My suggestions are: do that after business hours and with approved maintenance window and get a backup of the configuration before.
