Hi,
I'm in a situation where i need to add the extra switch which is WS-C3750V2-48PS with C3750-IPBASEK9-M IOS to the existing stack which contains two ws-c3750x-24p with C3750E-UNIVERSALK9-M switches. And yesterday i tried to add the extra switch to my existing stack but the members in stacks are not recognizing this newly added switch :( all the switches are running with 12.2(55)SE5 Software Version.
My question is will the 3750X-24P and C3750V2-48PS can be stackable ??
please someone help me

Have a look at this there is certain restrictions software and feature sets need to match for stacks to form fully

is it possible to downgrade the ipbase IOS to universal base IOS ?
as i mentioned earlier am running with 12.2(55)SE5 Software Version in all the switches.
why the stacks are not able to recognise the new switch ?
Should i downgrade the 3750V2 switch into universal base IOS ? is this possible ?
because i cant change the IOS of c3750x switches as these switches are in production.

Technically, the two series should stack. However, what license are your 3750Xs running? If they are running LANBase, they won't stack with other feature sets.

As far as I know, you should be able to stack that combination.
You're adding the 3750V2 to the stack? Has it's config been erased and you only power it on after connecting stack cables?
