3750 Stacks

During a prolonged power outage all of our stacks came up with the wrong switch as master. All of the stack each have a 3750G to be the master. I have set priorities on all of the stacks but my question is on the reload should I reload or pull the plug(s) and plug all of the stack back in within the twenty seconds allowed for an election?

Will this force a topology change in the network?

If you have the set the priorities correctly you will need to reload the entire stack.

Since this will change the stack order will this cause a topology change?

I need to know this since I am operating in a production environment with many PLC's dependent on the network for uninterrupted data flow to meet federal regs. I would like to keep the stack off-line for less than one minute however if a topology change happpens then the entire network could be down for the several minutes while the new tables are created.

How many other switches in the network?

Is this stack the root of any Spanning-Tree?

Is this stack a transit switch between leaf and root switches?

If a switch is considered a 'leaf' switch, no traffic goes via this switch as transit, a reboot will most likely only affect locally attached devices.
