4 physical 3750 switch units, grouped into 2 stacks. Each unit has redundant power: they get AC directly from the wall, and they are also connected to an RPS. The RPS is hooked up to a different AC trunk in the building. I believe the RPS may also supply redundant power to a router.
Looking at the switch logs, I see some error messages, intermittently, which appear to be related to the RPS. I've seen this for a while, but I've ignored it. Everything seems to be fine. Except today we had an issue with a port flapping on one of the switches, so I thought it might be related (or not).
What is the exact meaning of these messages? What is actually going on?
