3750 with Shoretel Phones

Hello All,

I am configuring a new 3750 switch that will trunk both voice and data on the same ports. My port config is the following.

 switchport access vlan 11
 switchport mode access
 switchport voice vlan 8
 no cdp enable
 spanning-tree portfast

The issue I am running into is the phone cannot contact the HQ server on a different VLAN.

The workstation gets the proper IP and works fine.

If I change the port to switchport access vlan 8 the phone works fine, but not when I try to use the trunk.

I have attached my full config, any help to troubleshoot this trunking issue would be great.

The configuration that you show us with an access vlan for data and a voice vlan works well when the phones are Cisco but appears to not work with your Shoretel phones. I would suggest that you configure these ports as trunk ports (and probably limit the trunks to vlans 8 and 11).
