I am trying to figure out if the 3750-x and the 3560-x line will support the routing of 9k jumbo frames or are they also limited to the only switching 9k jumbo similar to 3750 and the 3750E? Thanks in advance.

Yes. 3560X/37560X support 9216 Byte Jumbo frames.

Thanks, when you say they support jumbo, i am assuming you mean they support routing of jumbos as well as
switching. Is there any docs on the subject?

Sure. It's on the 3750X data sheet.

Right, that's the only one I've found and similar to the older 3750s and 3560s it is not very clear on whether jumbos are supported at L3 or L2. On the older ones there are specific Q & A questions that answer that question. There are not on the X series. I just need to make sure so that we can plan our network deployments with this new switching line.

You have a few ways of verifing:
1. Use the Cisco Feature Navigator (www.cisco.com/go/fn); and/or
2. Contact your Cisco SE and have them confirm it for you.

Or post on the Cisco Support Community and hope that someone else has already checked into this since the SE did not know and the feature navigator doesn't the 3750x listed as yet.
