3750X RSU "boot time"

I am reading the documentation in advance of performing a rolling-stack-upgrade on my 3750X.  It talks about setting the "boot time", and gives an example of setting it to 15 minutes.  The documentation is really poor, and does not explain what this does.

I am aware of CSCue38722 "Unclear explanation of "boot time" in configuration guide, but the explanation given in the bug note is not much better.  Is it the time delay between each member of the stack rebooting?  So a boot time 30 on an 8.member stack would take 4 hours?

I am also aware of CSCue38717, "RSU max boot time 30 may not be enough" for which there is not workaround.

Someone with experience with rolling stack upgrades: what would be a suitable value for upgrading a 2-member stack from 15.0(2)SE3 to 15.0(2)SE4 in order to assure non-stop operation?

As far as I know, I haven't seen a question or solution on the forum on this feature since it is pretty new. And unless I can test this in the lab, I would not do it in production, since you never know for sure what can happen and cause more headache than help.
