Solved: 3750x Upgrade License IP Base to IP Service

Hi

I have 4 x 3750x switches that I will be using as two stacks of 2. Currently they are new and have no config. Is it best to upgrade the licenses on each individual switch or do I have to upgrade them once stacked.

Hi,

I would do everything before stacking occur. Licensing as well as put them on same version etc...

Once stacked, it is still possible to have different images/licences on the different stack members and still be using the image of the stack master.

But to me it complicates things and the management of things in the future.

Thanks appreciate the response. I was thinking of doing just that, just wanted to see how other people upgrade the stack licenses
