Hello, I have 7 switch 3850. the cold start time of the stack is from 7 minutes to 10 minutes (different firmware). is it possible to reduce the load time of the switches to 5 minutes (technical requirements)? Thanks.

Hi Sergey,

its expected boot time for the IOS-XE in stacks and no need to worry about that.

Hi there,

You will get a small reduction in boot time if you have the firmware loaded in INSTALL mode. Not sure you will get close to 5 minutes though.

cheers,

Seb.

hi
there was a command warm-reload that cuts down boot but i don't see it available in my ios-xe 3850s
They do have quite a long startup but thats about the right time 7-10 mins depending on config and IOS in place
