Hello all

We have five 3850 switches in stack with one acting as a master while others are member , can anyone tell me how SSO works on it? (I have understanding about SSO in 45k series chassis with two sup engine)

On what basis SSO primary and secondary switches are elected?

Does introducing or removing SSO secondary switch cause any stack interruption?

Hi,

If the switches are stacked, they are already running in SSO mode. To find out, issue this command:

sh redundancy

you should see something like this:

Configured Redundancy Mode = sso
