4500 VSS pair not working after power outage

Seems there was a power outage that took down all network devices. Everything recovered properly except for the 4500. Every 5 mins this repeats in the logs

I broke the VSS and upgraded the one with ipbase to entservices. Re-did the VSS config on that chassis, and it worked.

Hello,

do you have dual active detection enabled ?

I didn't set this up, but it looks like it may not be enabled, even though they built an interface for it?

switch virtual domain 255
switch mode virtual
mac-address use-virtual

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/30
description description DUAL-ACTIVE-DETECTION-PORT
dual-active fast-hello

Interface 1/1/30 seems to be configured correctly.  Just make sure it is up and running on both chassis.

HTH

The second 4500 seems to be reloading every 5 mins, after the VSS establishment doesn't work. When it's up for about 4-5secs in that window this is what I see. I never see the dual active port go up

e1/1/30 down down description DUAL-ACTIVE-DETECTION-PORT

Te1/1/31 up up VSL Link to CORE1-B T2/1/31

Te1/1/32 up up VSL Link to CORE1-B T2/1/32

Te2/1/30 down down description DUAL-ACTIVE-DETECTION-PORT

Te2/1/31 down down VSL Link to CORE1-A T1/1/31

Te2/1/32 down down VSL Link to CORE1-A T1/1/32

Po1 up up VSL to Peer2

Po2 down down VSL to Peer1

I broke the VSS and upgraded the one with ipbase to entservices. Re-did the VSS config on that chassis, and it worked.

Could you please describe how to upgrade from ipbase to entservice....should i buy the licence or there are some commands?
